A skilled litigator with nearly twenty years of experience in a variety of practice areas, Gabriele Burner works closely with her clients to develop legal strategies which advance their personal and professional goals while balancing costs and time.
My strength lies in helping clients achieve their personal and professional goals through a collaborative process wherein we identify issues, brainstorm solutions and tailor strategies which are customized to the client’s specific needs. Part of that process involves the client and I getting to know each other and also discovering commonalities and quirks within ourselves which may be impediments to growth. I think my best work with clients has an element of self-discovery for both the client and me.
Gabriele earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Union College in Schenectady, NY and a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2000. Gabriele is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the Eastern District of the United States Federal Court.
Gabriele worked as a litigator for the City of New York for nearly ten years, representing city employees including police officers, firefighters and teachers in civil lawsuits. She spent several years working in Afghanistan and Dubai representing small and medium-sized businesses in an in-house counsel role. While there, she developed a keen business sense and utilized her litigation skills to help clients achieve professional success while protecting their legal interests. Back in New York since 2015, Gabriele has set out to provide extraordinary client services in the areas of business law, real estate and general practice, helping clients achieve personal and professional success.
